Did I lose my best friend?

I have been best friends with this guy since I wAs 5 and now he won't tAlk to me for more than 5 mins. Ik that he likes me more thAn a friend tho becuz he's told me over n over again to leave my bf for him becuz hed treAt me so much better. I love my bf with all my heart tho n would never dream of leaving him. Besides I feel like my best friend is like a brother to me. I've told him this multiple times but it has never made a difference. He's always been very respectful about the boundaries of my relationship too. However for he past few weeks he's been acting distant and aloof. What's wrong with him? Did I lose my best friend? What should I say or do?
